Dispatch & Shipping Costs
Orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days unless specified on the storefront and/or via email (holidays, illness, etc).
Shipping costs are calculated according to region and typically include approximated costs of packaging materials and the labour involved. I put a great deal of effort into packaging orders using sustainable materials and in a way that is as secure as possible, which takes a great deal of time to source and assemble. My shipping costs reflect this, while also being as fair as possible. I do not make a profit on shipping costs.
Free Shipping
To qualify for free domestic (UK) shipping your order total must come to Β£30 or over.
To qualify for free international shipping your order total must come to Β£50 or over.
Please be aware that free international shipping will be sent as Standard, without tracking.
Incorrect Shipping Address
Please contact me as soon as possible, at least within 24 hours, if you know that your shipping address is inaccurate. In cases where orders cannot be delivered and are returned to sender, the customer will be liable for any new postage costs.
Customs Duties & Taxes
I am currently able to collect US customs tariffs, which are paid by the customer at checkout and then declared in the shipping documentation.
I am not responsible for any other taxes or customs duties, and do not charge these at checkout.
Damages
Where an item or package is damaged during shipment, please take photos and send them to artofclairespiller@gmail.com. This is so I can make an insurance claim in order to cover a replacement for you.
I am not responsible for any damage that occurs to an item once it has been received, eg. wear and tear, misuse, etc. Many of my items are handmade and are not as robust as industrially-made alternatives - this is always communicated in the itemβs listing description. Please use common sense when handling these items and generally avoid putting things in the washing machine (except for t-shirts and other apparel, which should be turned inside-out and washed at 30).
Where an item is clearly faulty (eg, misprinted or otherwise misrepresentative of the advertised item) please take photos and send them to artofclairespiller@gmail.com to organise a full or partial refund. I am unable to refund shipping costs.
Refunds
Refunds will be accepted once items are returned to me within 14 days of delivery and the items are found to be in an acceptable condition. The customer will be responsible for any return shipping costs and original shipping costs will not be refunded. Please make sure that you carefully check item descriptions and the apparel size guide before placing an order.
Refunds will not be accepted for commissions, custom items, or reduced/sale items.
Delays & Lost Orders
Domestic orders usually arrive within 1-5 business days after they have been dispatched.
International order timeframes differ according to country/state, but generally arrive within 1-3 weeks.
Please be aware that International Standard shipping does NOT come with tracking! If your order is delayed or gets lost neither you nor I will be able to trace it. To avoid this please upgrade to βTrackedβ shipping.
Be aware that November and December are the busiest times for shipping, and factor in delays of 2-3 weeks during these months. I am not responsible for delayed items - once the order has been passed off to Royal Mail (and on to subsequent international shipping companies) it is their responsibility.
Please take these timescales into account and contact me if you are concerned about the whereabouts of your item. Where a delay has been substantial enough to consider the order lost (3+ weeks depending on circumstances), I may offer a refund or replacement. However, I have found genuinely lost orders to be incredibly rare and 99% of the time the order is just stuck waiting under a pile at customs!
